5. I don't see my town on your list but it's approximately 135 km away in Collingwood.
Is a birthday lawn or yard stork rental possible?
We will deliver anywhere as long as our mileage costs are covered.
We are in the Yard Greeting business and not a courier company and our delivery prices is the least amount we can charge.
Keep in mind that a distance of 135 km. will actually be covered 4X by our drivers and the charge reflects 2
round trips for delivery and pickup.
6. What other occasions are your lawn greeting cards used to celebrate?
Of course, birthdays are #1 because we can't avoid them every year (unless you're a leap year baby).
Events such as graduations, new babies, retirements, weddings and engagements have even more reasons to celebrate as they come less frequently.
We have also made lawn greeting cards for baby showers, anniversaries, promotions, welcome back home, bar/bat mitzvahs, baptisms, valentines,
Mothers Day & Fathers Day.
7. How much does a birthday yard greeting cost?
A yard greeting card costs $80 per day plus the cost of critters. Add $10 for each additional day.
8. I don't want a lawn card/I don't want critters.
Can I order just the yard sign without critters or just the critters with no yard sign?
Yes. Our minimum order is $80 and this is for either a lawn card only or 50 critters only. Delivery charges may still apply if outside our free delivery range.
9. Your prices are competitive but your happy birthday signs look way better. How is this achieved?
Our yard greetings look more professional because we are professional sign makers.
While everyone else out there can prepare your lawn sign in 30 seconds with a magic marker ours can take up
to an hour designing, cutting, weeding, and applying commercial quality vinyl graphics to your birthday lawn display.
Better quality means higher material and labour costs but to minimize this we use templates with standard phrases when we can.
10. Can I still have a totally customized phrase?
Our prices always include the persons name and age arranged into one of the standard phrases that are offered with each yard card.
We offer the most popular and clever ones for free but if you want a totally new custom phrase we charge $5 per word
(typical commercial rate is $5/letter). Alternately you can instead say anything else you want on an actual greeting card we attach to
the front door and can include at no extra charge.
11. How long is the rental period?
The rental period is from dawn to dark.
12. When do you deliver & pickup the lawn greetings?
We deliver our yard greeting cards between 11:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. the morning of the event.
New baby storks are always delivered the same day if we get the order by noon.
The yard cards are picked up after dark but we can accommodate later pickups (after midnight)
at no extra charge if there is a party that same evening – please inform us when placing an order.
13. Do you deliver in winter?
Yes, we deliver year-round.
14. Do you deliver in bad weather?
Yes, we deliver in most weather conditions, but reserve the right to cancel a delivery and reimburse you 100% if the safety of our drivers is an issue.
15. Do you deliver on holidays?
Yes, we are a full-time lawn greeting business and deliver 24/7 and 364 days of the year.
16. Do I get to keep one of the critters?
If you wish to keep a critter after the event please inform us when placing your order and we will include a brand new one for $15.
We also have customized keepsake critters available for $25 (with the person's name, occasion, and date included) and our premium package
adds a sibling/grandchild lawn card holding a keepsake placard.
17. Who is responsible if critters go missing or are damaged?
There are some exceptions but you are. These items are not cheap and can easily exceed the cost of the rental price.
We have set-up thousands of birthday lawn displays and have had only one incident of theft and two instances of damage/vandalism from the actual
occupants/guests of the house we delivered to. In both cases the homeowner was honest enough to admit that the party got out of hand and we
charged them only for the items that needed to be replaced. If you do not want to be responsible for the actions of your guests please order
from our competition instead.
18. If you make your own signs and critters can I custom order a unique critter design for
a very special occasion?
Yes, our lovebird critter is a result of someone wanting a special lawn ornament for their parents 75th wedding anniversary!
We refunded half the setup fee because we felt that the design was useful to us (unlike another custom critter we did, which was a company logo).
A minimum 2 weeks after your design is submitted.
19. How do I place my order?
Please call us at 416-410-7465 (410-pink) or 1-877-410-7465. Alternately, you can fill an order online and we will call you within 24 hours to confirm the details.
20. What payment methods do you accept?
We accept Visa and Master Card. Personal cheques must reach us at least 7 days before the order delivery date so the cheque can be cleared by the bank beforehand.
